The album is mostly life lessons, with a couple of personal songs in the mix. Twelve tracks, thirty-six minutes, made for two kids in the back seat of a car.

Each track has a note below on what it’s actually about. The concept pictures alongside them were made while the album was being written. The only one that was ever published is the cover.

Track by track

1. G.R. (3:11)

This one was for my 7 year old son. After witnessing his reaction the first time he saw a GR Supra in real life, I knew this song had to be made. His all-time favourite car (this year).

2. Restart (2:49)

This one is about not giving up. Everyone fails. Everyone. But it's only really a failure if you give up. Take a moment, compose yourself, and try again.

3. Nobody's Watching (3:04)

This is about how every success and achievement is built off the back of all the hard work you did in the background. Hardly anyone is "just that good". What you achieve in the light comes from what you did in the dark.

4. Silent (2:55)

This one is about how you don't have to be loud to be good. The quiet ones can often be the most surprising. Keep yourself calm, composed, and deliberate. Then show them what you're made of with your actions.

5. Two Bikes (2:56)

This one was the first one I created. It's about how the best days in your life are the simple ones. Cycling round the village with your friend, sitting playing video games, doesn't matter what. It doesn't have to be a big day to be a good day.

6. First Car (2:31)

This one is about managing expectations. Everyone wants the big expensive house, the flashy car, the blingy jewellery, but everyone starts out living in their parents' house. Work hard and smart and you will get there, but for most of us, it's a journey.

7. Long Way Round (2:51)

Take your time. Stop rushing everything. Take the long way home every now and then. Enjoy the sights and sounds. Just because you're not going the fastest, or taking the most direct route, doesn't mean you're not getting there. It just means you're enjoying the ride.

8. Full Beam (3:20)

All the most confident people you know have the same view of the road ahead as you do. They just don't stop when it gets a bit dark. If everything seems to be getting a bit too dark, slow down. But don't stop.

9. Five Seats (3:13)

This is the most important one in my eyes. This one brings the focus onto family. Having dreams and goals is normal and great. But having someone to share them with makes it much more satisfying. Family isn't perfect, family is stressful, but it's yours. The best memories you will make in your life will be with your family.

10. Ryans Drive (3:06)

This was a dedication to my son. He was the reason I made the album. The talkative, curious, amazing little car enthusiast. He didn't have the greatest start, but he's powering through. This is a note to let him know that to me he has always been amazing.

11. Phase (3:13)

This one is a dedication to my daughter. As disinterested in anything I do or say as she is, I love watching who she is growing into. Every phase and fad. Every trend and TikTok. She's trying out life and doing it well. I can't wait to see what she turns into.

12. Keys (3:08)

This one ties the album together. This one points out the reason for the album. The stories the songs tell, and how they try to get them ready for when they eventually grow and move on. For when I hand over the keys.
